Bird
A bird flew today
Through the leaves
And trees
Knocking dying leaves from their keep
A bird fluttered today
In my heart
Or in my stomach
I never knew
A bird left today
Taking the warmth
And summer daze
With prompt haste
A bird told me today
To take it easy
Let myself be
Spring will come
For now let death have its peak.
