They all made fun of me
ridiculed me
judged me but I kept going because I thought
you would come through
I buried my head deep in trust or foolishness
who knows now
everyone does what they please
why should that be a surprise to me
Sincerely, I just want to rest now. Lay in a field of flowers and fall asleep.
I just want the gentle wind to embrace my body and the greenery to grow around me until it covers me and I feel safe again
