I said good-bye with a smile
left parting gift to yesters
I am my own oracle
will heed the call
be on my way
travel light
alone

Eor your maker I wanted to care
thought I saw strength
and eyes that can see
meaningful things
but the oracle
ordained no
not here
no way

Told me the strength was not rooted
voices trailed to soundless echoes
someone was still searching
on a journey in seascape
listening to white noise
looking for music
in sea shells
now dried

I had stopped a while to watch the sunshine
garlanded flowers and looking for silver
in my brown eyes despite dark skies
as on starry nights storms howls
softly whispering warnings
of the lyrics of sprites
so I bade goodbye
with my smile
prayers and
a gentle
touch
ciao
