Oct 2020
your hissingΒ Β tongue
pierces once again
vile words, berating my worth
only I have learned (at last)
to disentangle my heart
from your snare's belittlement
staring into the unwholesome sky
with muted lips
awaiting tomorrow's painted beauty
I am saying goodbye to HP for a while. I will miss you all and your beautiful words, but need to protect myself from verbal cruelty at the hands of an unkind follower.
