Long roads take us nowhere
but to the same place, sun and air.

Home again in a stranger land
Stranger than the mountain lair
Scorn it some, then call it home...

Taste the salty layer.
Waves crashing in the air.
Breathe in the earthen ruin.
Rivers roaring over rocks.

Ramblin' on down the roads,
Numbers and unknown names..
****** with beauty for eternity
these sunsets, these moon rises..

You go somewhere you know for new surprises,
leave with nothing more than what you came with.
Just a change of scenery, just a new sound.
Find a place where you belong
or just ramble on
