Kind of funny
How one day
This person you’re with
Could be there
And the next
Doesn’t seem to exist
Reminiscing
On each second since
We first kissed
And revisiting it
Is futile
To resist
But I try nonetheless
To make memories fond
Not deny
That we did possess
Some form of bond
But the what-if remains,
The mistakes go unmade
And I punish myself
In oblivion’s fade
