Sep 2020
you broke me into
A million pieces
Perhaps you did me
A grave favor
Leaving me to pick up
The scattered pieces of
My life
All around lay remnants
Of my sordid past
What I hoped would
Never surface
Sadly appeared
Tears tried to clean
Up the sorry mess
To no avail
Perhaps it was a blessing
And I can begin anew
