should be no bullets

how are people
like that allowed
to carry
guns around

i'm scared
for my friends
they are used to
living in their skin

but why should a little substance
and how much of it we produce
make people so ignorant
people shouldn't fear such abuse

i'm scared for people
with hate like that in their heart
that God you believe in
won't get you far

and you'll never know love
