I remember lying in bed,
Thoughts rushing through my head,
Increasing my anxiety,
I couldn't sleep,
Every night I woke up at 3am,
And couldn't go back to sleep,
I remember going to my mom's bed,
I layed there next to her,
But she woke up and asked what was wrong,
I said nothing and went back to my room,
Then it happened again the next night,
And this time she asked, "Anxiety?",
I responded, "Yes"
And she lay there with me the whole night talking to me,
So thank you mom,
For always being there
Hey y'all. It's been a while, been really busy with online school. I was laying in bed when I remembered this night from the summer. Follow my Instagram @poetrybysabene
