i wish that you could see me,
i wish i knew who you were,
i can almost see you,
but almost is just a blur,
the closer you get,
the harder it is,
to keep from this wishing,
to see through this mist,
i want it, i need it,
its all that i ask,
to find you, and hold you,
someday remove this mask,
of complexity and confusion,
of the lies and the deception,
but first i must answer,
but one simple question,
what is it i need,
and what are the things i want,
the difference between the two,
one is love, and ones a taunt.
