When the world is at its end,
I want to tell you my dear friend,
You've helped me fly and achieve the best,
You've ensured my sanity and happiness,
You caught the tears I fearfully shed,
You destroyed the monsters under my bed,
You took the time to talk to me,
You told me I should be free,
To do what I want and what I can,
To heal the pain I'd left to stand,
In the closet where I hide the nightmares,
Covered in the dust of my growing despair,
We burned it down and didn't stay,
And let the wind drag the ashes away.

Thank you friend, you were good to me,
Now let's face the world we will cease to see,
Watch the horizon go up in flames,
Consumed by the sun who refused to be tame,
Watch the sky darken and take our last breath,
We're going to heaven and don't care about death
