No Goodbye Kiss

she came in from out of nowhere
with only a smile on her face
no grand celebrations
of her arrival
and now she has gone
with barely a trace

now she has gone and left me
my lonely heart left all alone
no grand celebrations
when she left
with no goodbye kiss
placed upon my tear stained face

Gomer LePoet....
not even a memory anymore - I didn't know something that seemed so special could be just shrugged away like a bothersome gnat.
