I have to say, thank you
for the valuable lesson you taught
That I can't trust you too,
That this was all for naught.

I thought you truly cared,
But I was completely wrong,
and my trust won't be repaired,
Although you knew all along.

You used me for self-gain
Of that there is no doubt
And you've caused me much pain,
In our friendship throughout.

*In closing,
The day I trust you again
Will be the day I have sold my soul.
Just for clarification, there are two people who broke my trust recently. This is addressed to one of them, the other, being a close friend, I will forgive pretty quick. I only say this because the person this is not addressed to has a hello poetry and knows mine, so yeah....
I figured I'd write a rhyming poem.
