Sunbaked
While spotting for terns and heron,
My sunburned arms were glaring bright red,
Subsurface sunfish weren't interested in my suffering,
they preferred my redworms instead.
Pock marked, panfried fresh
finishing my signature dish with zest isn't fun anymore,
