Sat still, no motion
People passing by, not even a notion
A fly lands, not once but now twice
I want to move it, but maybe it was its choice
Your everyday pigeon, just given up the ghost
I wonder what it thought, this is me at my most
I'd rather sit here and let be what may be
Than dying on the top of the branch, and land from the nearest tree
