A story a Trappist monk in Oregon once told me
A visiting teacher comes to a joint
Hindu-Catholic ashram in India
And asks the children:
Where is God?
The Catholic kids all point to the sky:
Above me (Our Father who art in Heaven)
The Hindu kids all point at their chests:
Inside me: Brahman and atman are One.
The moral of this story, he tells me,
Is that all of the children are correct.
