this is the institution of my heart.
this is the institution of my heart.
this is the institution
this is the institution of my heaaaaaart

it's starting to look like
this whole thing's
just gonna fall apart

but we do this anyway.

with schools and courthouses,
banks and parks.

almost made a correction
owed to stubborn insurrection
almost changed, "we"
to "they"

if you find me with an opened throat
if you meet me in a tattered coat
find the warmth left in my body
find that warmth left in my body
and call it ours,
call it ours.
