It is not a game in which

Hurt someone

As a means of
Easing your own pain
And sense of humiliation
You feel within a phony
Peer pressure
That has captivated you culturally!

I know my poems are ----IN VAIN

But it's hard to sit here silently

Listening to you DIE

(Not--cry
For you don't really express

True meaning
Or true pain)

And you don't really

Try to help one another

But merely re-inforce
The sense

That the false culture is real

And that the suffering therefor is unavoidable!
