Poems
Jul 2020
Two birds
It had not been easy
The storms were blowing
I turned in bed gently
Hoping not to be dead.
Stages of terror crossed
The heathland; I came
And sat beside your head
You tried to give me strength.
We flew up to the mountains
Two birds with golden wings
And hid our heads in the foliage
Of darkness without sin.
Love Mary **
