pages with this scouring
and pressing down
sound of blades on parchment
sailing words course through
this cellulose sea
quiet alone now

letters spill on as if
polymeric chains snag
heartstrings past embarrassment
follow one another out into some light
twinging yet owned
sparks of snappy life
shorting forward
