As you walk on by
I forget about being
And in this unknowing seeing
What it means to not breathe for an instant
And for a heart to stop beating so suddenly

As if in the middle of a cold river running
You are a full stop for tumbling me
Before cascading into a crescendo fall
With a humming of sound
And a harmonica drum

Lost is a wonderful place to be
Near you
Like a summer storm.
