You were there as I crumbled,
Caught up in my whirlwind of tears.
You helped me pick up the pieces,
Broken and taped over pain.
Showed me it didn't have to hurt.
You offered a distraction,
and stole my heart.
I am caught up in your circle.

I tried to write a poem about you,
None of the words seem to fit right.
You're the half to my tragic self,
and somehow it isn't all bleak.
You take my breath away with moments I didn't see coming.
I fall deeper each day,
Knowing you will catch me.
