the voluminous clouds were forming
across the radiantly deep and blue sky,
the untamed eagles flying past tall and richly
colored trees, their wings a constellation of magic
gleaming for all to see.
And as we laid in bed, the snow-white bed sheets covering
our naked bodies, the broad bridges filled with pedestrians nearby,
the street traffic jamming to the summer songs
of romance on the highway, you were my strong and fragrant man
whom I treasured with all my heart.
