In the clinging ordinariness
of them insignificant sheep
how they crave love
to bring color to white blandness
chomping hay and green grass
life's pleasure for the huddled masses
so in love they find warmth
and baa in fanciful tongues
milking away in fluffy paradise
but always the sheep
come summer and the skies blue
love melts away like winters snow
and they part to gambol and hop
from her to him and him to another
do not talk love for love sake
that was then this is now
we have no strings attached
never real or lasting for sheep are sheep
ah! the joys of sheep in love
love is for the winters blues
never felt it till ewe came along
baa baa baaa roses are red
baa baa ba humbug
we are sheep and ewe are ewe
