Poems
Jul 2020
before you leave
the first night i kissed you,
an eternity, i have missed you.
i wish i stopped when i could,
early jokes, how i would marry you,
in a crowded wood.
call it a life,
that life would have been good.
but the stars still miss you,
and the moon adores you.
not as much as me,
with my drunken words,
and my shaky knees,
a dying fiend.
that hopes to see,
the one he loves,
before she leaves.
