We can take a word and twist it around.
Spread the best of rumors all over town.
Have someone a shame to show their face.

Take pride in it.
As if we have done a great thing.

We can lie with the best.
And have that lie believe.
All because of the way we dress.
And report certain type things.

We the people of this good earth.
Say one thing.
And not abide by them.
Quick to say practice what you preach?

Then cry foul if the truth about us comes out.

Which is a taste of our own medicine.
Which leaves an imprint.

It hurts.
It hurts to the bottom of our soul.
That when you aware that you have a conscience.
