We took a picnic to
a funeral
dined Al-Fresco
behind a headstone.

Carnivore Crows
looked on at a pair
of vegetarians with
organic whole meals.

We were chief mourners
but placed our stomachs
before the dead, it didn't
go down well I can tell you.

When we finished, everyone
had gone but for the grave
diggers who sat on a mound
eating a Pizza: "Bone Appetite".
