The stars are shining tonight,
Filled with iridescent magic
And dreamy escape,
Starry diction, sleek blue similes
Spinning around the moonlight,
Warm and vibrant metaphors
Circling the infinite sky.

I can envision a thousand stars
Reaching out to the moon
For one sweet kiss,
To seep inside its peaceful sensations
It’s exhilarating rhymes dancing
And lighting up the night.

The stars and moon are in love tonight.
This a joyous occasion to celebrate
Two eternal lovers,
To savor the enchantment,
To watch as they shimmer
In the sight of each other’s presence.
