You don't get to be who you are without practice
repetition is how you learn to do things
So take note and strive to repeat the good things
Until they take root in your soul and make you whole

If only I had had that wisdom to see
that it takes as long to lose as it does to gain
for every evil in me that took years to grow
there will be years of tiny adjustments to make,
and tiny steps to take to undo the damage
I hope I live long enough to die a better man
