The clouds do as they do
and dissipate,
the sun comes up
a trifle late,
but
is welcomed as a friend,
the morning paints light across
my eyes,
which
opened fully now
watch
as the story unfolds.
Just stepped out of the first chapter to make coffee, back soon.
