I have no lines
tonight
to lay down before you

that matter
that take up something
hot

I have no lines
now
lying fallow

I have none
to snag
your trolling hook

the tongue
you stick
in life forward

you taste
like a battery
half charged

hoping to light
one last
******

I have want
left over
for you

I know that
look that
deprecation

I just let this
fantasy
pass
