We seem to be slipping away
In fact, the appropriate phrase is astray
Our love life is like an winter feel
The warmth from within is no longer real
Our motions have become commotions
Our lips are frozen solid
Whatever happened to our wedding vows?
It seems our hearts have encountered a crack
We are both responsible being in the smack
It takes two to love
I can’t do this alone
We need to bring back that fire
At least that is my desire
I hope we can work our romance out
We need to talk and not shout
Our love has turned into a bout
We both need to see a Counselor
Our love is too cherished to let go
We must take one day at a time being slow
It’s a matter of time, and we will understand our love we used to know
But I am still your love, and won’t let go.
