To see a dying rose bloom
That is a sight

Each petal of life
Floats to the ground
Vanishing into the cold surface
Of the past

As time goes on
New petals of future grow
Filled with crimson power
Until the rose points to the sky
Welcoming all it has to give
And all I will receive

What a sight
To see a dying rose bloom
