just realized my issue is that
i can't commit to an identity
there's so many different versions of me
born of circumstance and need
all are valid
all are me
but i can't be all
maybe i shouldn't try to be
things that people understand
maybe i should just be me
whoever that happens to be today
whoever that might be next week
