I just see the iridescent shame
retching in glowing septic degradation
the tutors of all with the magic of progress
giver of flight and speed enamored pearl of wisdom
whose kith and kin afore floated in fragrant translucent grace
only to morph in astonishing disgrace to rabid sewer rats in cesspits

In glorious light in inspiring tomes
history showered heroism warriors fair and brave
justice walked in incorruptible honored equitable prances
then before me curtains unfurled to show rot and foul depravity
of rogues thieves maiden vixens and liars and decayed minds thugs
sequined cowards in brogues and narcissistic twisters in vapid glows

Civilization is a liar coated in gloss paint
hateful illogical vengeful shysters mill along honest movers
tainting deceiving nefariousness befriends politics of race hatred
galloping on false slogans claiming unity bereft of truth in daylight
dark army in white camouflages heralding greed in their known greed

where is the pain in opened eyed truth
show me the suffering in honesty and a life well made
one sees the Pope naked in toilet in handcuffs and dog collar
or a favorite respected Teacher unmasked as a ***** in a brothel
the ninety-nine problems are not mine but yours and your Cabal
how are the mighty fallen when they have shamed the Hope and Glory
