A Nose In My Ear, Or Ageing Love Song

Watching morning TV,
Eating late – toast, egg and coffee,
He leans in and nuzzles me.
(A funny word: to nose-el,
And a funny feel.)
Have you ever had a nose in ear?
You can no longer hear –
Not for that second, it somewhat vexatious,
Nonetheless, a candy and ridiculous,
And  yes, oh, yes, a sugared kiss.
It was and is.
