Have you ever just stood
Not doing anything, just stood

Head above, eyes to the sky
Your mind with the switch off
A blank stare into an ocean in the air
Fishing for thoughts
Using your eyes for bait

Trying to catch the fish of time
With fins of happy memories

But you find it hard to hook this fish
For your state of depression
Breaks the line
Setting the memory free
To never be seen again

To catch the fish
You need the bait of happiness
And the cheerful strength to set the hook

For when you reel it in
A smile will rise
Leaving depression drowning in the water
