i saw a band of butterflies with there colors bright
yellow gold and green some were black and white
flying round the flowers all around the trees
hovering in the air on the summer breeze

they filled me with delight such a sight to see
flying everywhere they made me feel so free
showing of  there colors underneath the sun
flying round the plants having so much fun

then they flew away like a squadron in the sky
i watched them as they left as i waved goodbye.
