The Missing Piece Of My Heart

You are the one

The sound of your name

Like a siren going off

All my senses rise up

Hoping you are near by

You are the one

When you are here I melt

Body turns numb from your voice

Holding you, loving you

Hoping it will never end

You are the one

I may hurt when you are gone

A salty tear in my eye

Not from sadness, but happiness

Love over powers pain

You are the one

The looks of beauty

The face of an angel

The jewels of your mind staring at me

Melting me into a liquid smile

You are the one

I think of a happy place

You are my happy place

Me and you together

Just us, peace, and love

You are the one

I give my love to you

My heart is like a clock

Every click of the second hand is love

Time that should not be wasted

You are the one

And I am yours

I love you

The missing piece of my heart
