We’re drowning
In an ocean of despair
But the president
Doesn’t seem to  care
It doesn’t matter to him
How we fare
As the death toll rises
Though he’s aware

There’s only one thing
On his mind
It’s the next election
You will find
Perhaps that explains why
He’s deaf, dumb and blind
To the massive pandemic
Affecting all mankind

Never mind
The lives lost
Forget about
The human cost
A win to him i
Is better than a loss
As long as he’s
Gets to floss

It’s past time
We realize
He doesn’t feel
Or sympathise
And it’s right here
Before our eyes
So let that be
Word to the wise
