Close not the heart, it shines within
it's own, through rays warm with
love, beyond understanding.

Close not the heart, it does not know
how deeply it radiates affection, not
even falling toward oceans cold with
pain and deceit.

Close not the heart, when love shuts it's
door to yesterday, it's a new day, a new
beginning, a new journey.

Close not the heart to false impressions
not to abandon treasures, nor to take
away smiles of truth.

Close not the heart, when honesty plays
an unfair role, not when words have been
written clearly upon pages old with age
close not the heart.

Close not the heart, it's not known to
decay with regret, not yet, maybe
another place, another time, close
not the heart, not now.

Open the heart to a new world of
love and light, watch the purple
glow brilliantly among the lilies
of the valley near the village
of no regrets.

Open the heart to your minds
conscious collective, drifting
through the glass of your
dimensional illusion.

Close not the heart that does not
feel the silence of your beating
heart, it beckons for you to
appear naked in the wonderment
of your imagination.

Close not the heart, it
awaits.
