I laughed
At the end
At how
Serious
It all seemed
And how
Gently
The world
Reminded
Me
Of its scope,
And invited
Me
To let go
Of drawing
Lines
And join.
And the
Laughter
Cleared the way
For tears
I didn’t
Know
I carried,
For the lines
I draw
Are heavy
And distracting.
