sometimes i do--
i expect you
to get over my problems
and stitch me into your world

come on,
just take it with a grain of salt
and accept me.

but i know--
i threw a body forward
sometimes with love and sometimes not
sometimes like a star and sometimes like a black hole
and i promise you i'm sorry for it
if i could just see
if i could just move

if i could find
another thirty minutes somewhere,
i'm sure everything would find me
all that's left
is just to sing.
