In the pale misty azure
of dawn-light I catch your nearness
come touch-lit noon I sense a call to us
in whispering evening cover of indigo
when night birds coo closer in draped wings
I implore cupid to remind you keep my heart

I snuggle into words born
verses from the known unknown-ed
familiar touches in the village l'amour
by a rustic wishing well a penny drops
keep her well and safe it carries in fall
you must know as I find nowt to not

So fly as high as you can
starve me not of precious language
bleed the ink as my heart bleeds
in twosome hold doves dances anew
so take my torso make love to my mind
anyway you desire for this heart you keep
