War can be tough
The surroundings can be rough
But as Soldiers we are trained to fight
Being in the Military we don’t the mission light
That’s why we are proud to be Soldier’s
It doesn’t matter rank
As surviving each day is God to thank
We are the Red, White and Blue
That is what pulls us Soldier’s through
United in fight and victory being the aim
Many Soldiers satisfied their lives
But as a Soldier, we must carry in strive
However, Soldiers know there is no guarantee
We stand proudly because of Thee
It’s our country we serve
It’s freedom that all deserve
Battles come with victory or defeat
We stand tall and salute on our feet
Memorial Day is a celebration of honor that Soldiers take
Sustaining and fulfilling is what we make.
