You were a child’s dream
But you were a Mother in mainstream
Thank you Grandma for helping me to strive
It was your true love that you did provide
You were full of joy when I was born
You even observed my movement and my yond
You were there when I was sick
You knew you had to be quick
You made sure the Doctor was aware
In your heart, you knew I needed Medical care
You proved, a Grandmother can be a Mother too
True to your heart
You always believed in me in possibilities
But you often stated, “Life responsibilities come with realities”
Your method was “Learn by doing”
You make me proud being your Grandson
Even though you are longer around, your legacy can still be found
Your love is my mound
But I extend Happy Mother’s Day
You are always on my mind in every way
You made me complete
Embracing in hugs and kisses being the Mother’s Day treat.
