Untitled
Tides turn, as dreams fade,
Crowds don't gather for the daily parade.
Leaves fall, as storms muster,
Winds rise. We toil and bluster.

Though times change and crises gather,
We cling to our love, it's all that matters.
Write, edit, capture; filter and post,
Crystallise subjects that matter the most.

Pots and pans rattle weekly for heroes,
Shelter 'discovered' for our legions of zeroes.
We cherish, protect, celebrate our treasures.
Connected once more, re-embracing simpler pleasures.

Through times unprecedented, alien, uncertain,
Souls are awakened, resuscitated, un-burdened.
Dreams form anew, tides are re-charted.
We dust ourselves down and honour the departed.

We live, we love, we fail, we learn.
Fight on past the pain, press on through the burn.
And when we return to times as before,
We'll see ourselves clearer, our beauty, our flaws.

The lamp flickers on, the wind will subside.
We'll venture together in the morning's clean light.
Loved ones together, family and friends,
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! In love to the end.
