For the sake of the children many adults stays in a unloved relationship.
Trying to keep up a front for the love of their daughter or son.
But there will come a time when truth will emerge.

For the sake of pretending before family and friends.
They will smile and talk about old times.
While their life of happiness just pass them by.
Why?
For the sake of pleasing others.

We can't judge them.
Cause we have been their too.
Trying to hold up an image to not offend.

We learn the tricks of life from many sources.
In facts, it's expected of us to learn.
Why?
For the sake of pretending.

Sometimes, we make it our testimony of truth.
Where many people lives according to proof?
Where we make our lives sad.
For the sake of keep others happy.

Until our lies are exposed before us.
When we should have ended this relationship long ago.
