Wonder if
You wonder if
You often cross my mind
And how you linger there
As I just stare
And wonder why
I even try
To put a smile
On that face,
When I know
It could not
Erase
Those crazy feelings
So you claimed
But I know you feel nothing,
Same
Except perhaps
Some grave dependency
On me
Or somebody
To have,
To hold,
To clearly see
Really wanted to love
And be loved
As easy
As the rest of us seem
To believe
We receive
And deserve unto death’s
Unreserved
Deceive
