Misty white light
Reflects off clouds
Through windows
Onto skin
Up arms, down legs
Liquefying resistance
Weighing down on her back
Eyes closed
Movement is subdued
Between dreams and life
A comfortable purgatory
No needs or wants or
Thoughts
The brain is chained up
No more running away
Safe to endure
Until an eye makes move to open
A lock will follow suite
